Mariana Zafeirakopoulos is a Senior Fellow with the Social Cyber Institute. She is a transdisciplinary researcher and practitioner with a background in law, international relations, public policy and design. Mariana worked for the Australian public service and in International Organisation for over 15 years, practicing and teaching Strategic insight, innovation and futures thinking before moving solely into design practice exploring areas like Human-Centred-Design, Social Systems Design and Strategic Design. Mariana has been engaging participatory action research methods to explore the human experience of emerging socio-technical systems concerning Artificial Intelligence in Cybersecurity. Mariana is always keen to work with people from all walks of life to co-create preferred futures for all - through research and practice.
