Akshit Tyagi is an Associate Fellow with the Social Cyber Institute and a Master of International Relations student at the Australian National University, Canberra. His research interests focus on the relationship between media and conflict prevention, particularly how information flows and traditional media influence crisis response. Akshit has worked across digital, broadcast, and print media, reporting on community, political, and social issues. He is also actively involved in student media at ANU, contributing stories on university life and governance. Before commencing his postgraduate studies, Akshit gained experience in business news reportage based in Delhi, India, covering markets, corporate affairs, and economic policy.
