Mariana Zafeirakopoulos is a member of the Board of the Social Cyber Institute and one of its Senior Fellows. She is a futures designer, systems thinker and transdisciplinary practitioner working at the intersection of complex systems, technology, strategy and human-centred design. Currently Principal and Practice Lead for Systems Excellence and Technology Management at Frazer-Nash Consultancy, she brings experience spanning national security and intelligence, government, academia, strategic design and innovation. Her research and practice explore how systems thinking, design and futures approaches can help organisations understand complexity, make better strategic decisions and address complex socio-technical challenges. Her PhD research explored knowledge co-production using design-based approaches to knowledge integration to complex and emerging national security and intelligence challenges.
