CORPORATE STRUCTURE

The Social Cyber Group  is a registered for-profit company limited by shares in the state of Victoria Australia. It has two business units: the Academy and the Advisory.

The Social Cyber Institute is a separate legal entity from the Social Cyber Group. The Institute is a registered company limited by guarantee with its main office in Canberra Australia. It operates as a non-profit organisation. It is common in Australia for non-profit organisations to register as a company limited by guarantee.
 
The Social Cyber Group provides logistic, promotional and infrastructure support  on a pro bono basis to the Institute. Office holders in the two companies on registration were identical, but it is expected that in due course the leadership of the Institute will be expanded and or modified independently of any leadership changes in the Social Cyber Group.
